Stefan Kwame Boakye

Stefan is a Bristol-based Ghanaian-Irish Creative Producer. He is Co-Founder of the Bristol Ballroom Community - which champions Black Queer Dance and other Artforms, he produced Bristol’s first official Vogue Ball in 2022. In Theatre, he has worked as Assistant Producer for Outlier (2022) and The Colour of Dinosaurs (2023), both at Bristol Old Vic. Stefan’s passion is Community engagement and making arts more accessible. This led to him being the producer for Around the World in BS5 with Compass Presents, and the Local Producer for Duppy Hunter: A Local’s Guide to St. Paul’s, Bristol with Tamasha Theatre. He is currently the Creative and Community Officer for Tobacco Factory Theatre  alongside his work at Tangle.
