Munashe Chirisa

Munashe is a Zimbabwean born actor, writer and stand up comedian. He studied biomedical science in Nottingham, prior to his degree in Performance Arts in Film, Stage and Television at New Buckinghamshire University. His debut stand up comedy outing was at the International African Comedy Show in London, as a resident comedian in 2013 whilst carrying out his studies. Munashe's breakout theatre performance was with Know My Mind Theatre, playing the lead role of Mr X. Television credits include Magamba TV's Zambezi News on Zambezi Magic in Southern Africa. His most recent theatrical work was with Tangle in their production of Doctor Faustus. The Zimbabwean performer continues to practice stand up comedy professionally, and produces his online sketch show titled, Munashe's Stories.
